Funds raised support beekeeping development in rural Tanzania. This includes beekeeping education for underserved Maasai women, plus improved equipment for Hadzabe beekeepers.

The Maasai Honey project benefits underserved Maasai women and marginalized tribal groups in rural Tanzania. Donations are allocated towards beekeeping education, the purchase of beekeeping equipment, plus village outreach initiatives. The more money we raise, the more people we can reach! For many trainees, the opportunity to become a beekeeper means the opportunity to support their family and community. Every amount of support makes a real difference!

Buy Honey
Now you can buy honey produced by the Maasai women beekeepers of Ololosokwan Village! The honey has been imported into the United States and packed at an FDA registered facility. The honey is pure and raw, filled with the sweet and subtle flavors of the Serengeti flora! Honey is sourced directly from the Maasai beekeepers, so every jar of honey sold supports their beekeeping business.
